I May Knead an Intervention (or two)
No Knead Bread.
Amazing. It's everything that everyone says it is.. and even more, because words cannot fully express how good this is. We make this at least 3 times a week. Nights that we don't have it, we are bummed. We eat it toasted for breakfast. We eat it with our dinner. My favorite is to slice it while it's still warm, put butter on it, and dip it in honey or maple syrup. DEADLY!
See you at weight watchers.
and my second addiction.....
Iced Yerba Mate with honey and lemon.
Tastes tea-ish, (It comes from the leaves of a tree that grows in South America) but you can brew it differently and make it taste coffee-ish too. Caffeine free, but with a natural stimulant that is not supposed to be bad for you. Antioxidants, immune system boosters... all kinds of good stuff. (supposedly) You can read about it here. I will tell you that I call it crack. Be forewarned. I don't even crave coffee like I crave this stuff. The cafe across the street from where I work sells it, and I was embarrassed by how many times I was going in to buy it (in the same day, even!), so now I buy the tea bags and make it at home myself. (where only my family can see how hooked I am) Yikes.
Gotta run... my glass is empty and the bread just came out of the oven. :)

I kept seeing that bread and thinking I should make some. Maybe next fall I'll splurge on the appropriate pan (pot?) to bake it in. The drink looks interesting...I wonder where I would find some here? My new fave is Vietnamese iced coffee. Check it out!

Seeing that bread again, it is haunting me! :)
If I don't have one of the dutch ovens, what could I bake it in, do you think?
(Really, the answer should be NOTHING, so I won't be eating bread obsessively!!! )

Yerba Mate is my hot tea of choice...I've never had it iced. I'll have to give that a try. But I am staying far away from the bread!
