What's Old is New

On June 1st, my husband and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary!
(How did the time pass this quickly? How did we get this old?)
It was a crazy, but wonderful anniversary weekend, as most of our anniversaries are, but thankfully, not as crazy as last year's anniversary, which is now known as "the year of the bat".

We actually made it out to dinner this year (no small feat, with all of the June "goings on"), and at the end of the night he surprised me with this pretty pair of framed prints, that I had been admiring in one of our local antique shops.

I love bringing "new" old things into our house... they look like they've always been here.

Happy Anniversary to all of you June brides!

Happy Anniversary! I'm late -- but you celebrate for the whole month, right? ; )

I recognize that style... are those florals by "Prevost"? I have one or two -- and they always catch my eye in shops.

Yes, they are J.L.Prevost prints. I just love his style... I may have to search for more.
